In USA, to discredit one’s opponent all means are allowed, be it prohibited and/or immoral. Their motto is that the end justifies the means.

I fear the end of this nation has never been closer. Here are some clues:

1- Winning without convincing has been the end of all wars that USA has had.

2- Inability of solving the ME conflict.

3- USA is being blackmailed by North Korea and Iran: they refuse to obey only in return for concessions.

4- A policy of implied nationalization of banks, a smell of communism and to a lesser damage, some doctrines of socialism.

5- Last but not least, The U.S. is no longer a nation that inspires confidence, starting with the Europeans, its closest allies.

PS, the quote above is another sign which is more telling.
