Has Palin begun to run for the Presidency?

Palin has begun to differ herself from McCain. Is this just the normal difference between a Pres and his VP running mate, or has Palin begun to see Obama cming out the winner no matter what lie the Repubs put out there. If so, has she begun to put herself out there as a Pres candidate for 2012? Starting to look like it. Maybe by then she will be able to answer a few question as well as just read off of the teleprompter.

It's crossed my mind that some of Palin's policy differences with McCain might have future ambitions in mind.
Yeah, I saw that coming a couple of weeks ago

If you paid attention to the VP debate, she talked about herself and what she thought (!) and hardly mentioned McCain during the whole debate.

Biden never answered a question without putting it in the context of Obama as the president and Biden as the VP.

Now granted, Biden is a very smart man and knows how to speak publically, but I think there was more to Palin's self centric display than her inarticulateness.

In four years the hate and ignorance of her current condition MAY recede . . . but her greed may finish her off when they look at Trooper-gate and the new "House-gate" . . . a censure or jail time might temper the hate . . . besides her ugly insides may reach the surface by them and the "little head Republican thinkers" will be not longer up for an empty bimbo . . .
Re: Have you seen this New Yorker piece?

Hi~

I've been wondering the same thing about Governor Palin. This New Yorker article on how Conservatives in the lower 40 came to know her is very interesting <link>. It goes into some detail about how people like Kristol, the toe sucker, and other leading Conservatives became enamored with her. One gets the impression that they will want to keep supporting her after the campaign is over.

The other thing about her bahavior is how, as I suspect you have also noticed, is to distance herself from the Senator McCain (Michigan, robo calls, etc...) at a point when it looks like McCain may lose.

God Speed,

David
