War is on 1st amendment, not Fox
by mapeters

It doesn't matter whether Obama himself criticized Fox. What matters is that his administration tried to prevent Fox from covering a press conference. That act was a direct assault on the 1st amendment, i.e., it was _censorship_, something that dictatorships engage in, not free nations.

Fortunately for all of us, and to their credit, the other networks wouldn't let that happen, and told the Obama administration that if they didn't let Fox cover it, they wouldn't either.

To paint this disgusting act by the Obama administration as something trivial is itself disgusting - and yet another example of leftist bias in the mainstream media.

Uh, we don't think so.

That whole little bit was simple miscommunication between the Obama administration and Fox News itself. It was resolved, and amazingly Fox News' wittle fweewings were all better after it was cleared up and set straight.

What's disgusting, mapeters, is you people's bleeding hearts. Where was your indignation when Presidente' El Bush was preventing MSNBC from flying on Air Force One because poor little Bush was feeling all mistreated and shit? I bet you didn't even open your mouth if defense of the great and mighty 1st amendment rights of MSNBC, did you?

I thought so.

got a link to anything that would back up this post? Prove that Fox was not going to be allowed to cover a press conference.

By the way, did you know that Bush refused to grant interviews with the NY Times for 8 years?
